Welcome to our twinning school in UK



In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Ever Merciful

Beit Lahia Girls' Prep School welcomed the team of the UK school to present three-days sessions.

Jo, Chris and Shaun have been to Gaza for a week in order to perform a project at our school and other school in the north area. The project consisted of Arts, technology and teaching English language.


The British Council supported the project with logistics. Our students felt happy to deal with the British workteam for three days and held a goodbye small party. tears fell down. Respect and love surrounded the place.


All greetings to the British workteam, British Council-Gaza and talented students in Biet Lahia Girls School and the workteam there, Amani, Mariam and jehan with the support of Mrs. Nawal.

Video conference with Northwood School - UK

Skype Video Conference from Beit Lahia Girls' School for CCO schools - North Gaza

Mr. Hassan Ramadan, a teacher in Beit Hanoun Boys' School has travelled since a week to UK. There he was in a project entitled The Olympic dreams.


Hassan invited all CCO school clusters to participate in a text chatting with him for an hour



Teachers from different schools had asked Hassan about his journey, the goals stand behind his travel and what things he achieved there.


An ho.ur later, there was a skype video conference with Hassan and the students there about sports and values


Students introduced themselves to each other, shared their favourite sports and the places where they participated and played.


Our CCO team in Beit Lahia Girls' introduced some values in sports, e.g. loyality, honesty, spirit of team work, cooperation, etc.

Our CCO team also talked about Human Rights in Sports and restrictions people might find in expercising and practicing sports in Gaza.



The video confernce was finished with a big smile on faces of everybody participated in the video conference. Let us thank all the guests and mainly:

CCO project Launch

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Ever Merciful
The CCO project has launched for the third year in its brilliant goals to keep the Palestinian students in touch with the wide world.
Today, Mrs. Jehan has a meeting with some school clusters who are interested in the project and about to set up their first skype video conference.
The teacher has explained to the participants how to launch a skype video conference and what main points might be discussed.
Mr. Hassan Ramadan who is about to travel to UK for The Olympic dreams in a great challengable partnersship with Gaza. Everybody in the meeting agreeded upon 20th of October to be the first skype application in Beit Lahia Girls' Prep. School.
I have to mention that our CCO project members are going to participate on 20th of October meeting.
Later, they would launch with both another two schools. Previous one Simon Langton Grammar Girls' School and Chelse Hospital school.

Right to Return ( Fair )

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Ever Merciful

As a kind of the school's participation in the CCO project. The art club with the assistance of Miss Amani has prepared 10 great posters expressing the idea of " Right to Return " drawings.

Chelsea Hospital School is going to arrange a fair about the return right and our school is participating as a part of the project with these drawings.
The idea of the project that the team of Chelse hospital school has arranged a fair, collecting real keys for this purpose and they are going to display in a great event.
Mrs Jo Evans told us that the drawings are very expressive and she has already passed her greetings and heartful thankings to Miss Amani.
Mr. Shaun the art teacher at the British School Hospital has also liked the drawings and givign great and wonderful attitudes towards them.




The students felt happy to draw about their dream.





Teachers of the school liked the photos and expressed their admiation to Miss Amani's activiness and eagerness to draw the students' attention to most important issues in their lives.
